Traces is the second part of the residency on the site of the future ViaSilva ecocity, in Rennes. The points of view that emerge reveal the desire to keep a visible trace of a world in upheaval.
For this nine-month residency, Richard Volante chose to create an ephemeral collective with people working in Cesson-Sévigné 35. He accompanied these Sunday photographers in a personal artistic project, while producing his own photographic work. This approach of turning to the creative potential of the other, amateur, rare for a professional, is characteristic of the empathy that permeates the work of Richard Volante.olante.
Georges Guitton, journalist and writer, brings in his words his historical vision of the traces in the landscape, still inscribed today in the DNA of the territory.
