220, France in the middleu fromJuly Editions weVimeo.
220 is the longitude of the meridian of Paris, an imaginary line that crosses France from north to south, from Dunkirk to Prats-de-Mollo-la-Preste. Jean-Michel Leligny has chosen to travel it by bike, in order to photograph a France of today, far from clichés and postcards, by endeavoring to reflect a reality that, very often, we no longer see.plus.
The bicycle is thus a form dislodged from slowness and ecology. Moving away from the frenzy of our time, the photographs ofde 2200 present themselves as break spaces.
Jean-Michel Leligny, Norman photographer. decided to cross France with his camera, to achieve this physical and photographic performance. This work has been shown in many festivals in France.
