A flagship of Breton industry, built in the early 1960s, the PSA - La Janais plant, in the suburbs of Rennes, has experienced an inevitable decline for the past ten years in a global context unfavorable to the European automobile industry. Today, PSA plans to cut 1,400 positions by the end of 2013 and has implemented a social plan since the start of the year. The authors went to meet employees affected by the plan, enriching their testimonies with historical, social and economic facts.iques.
