Three South-West Asian countries which all belong to the Persian cultural space; three predominantly Muslim countries, with Indo-European populations, which remain subject to the laws of religion and obscurantism; three countries that we know so little about but which have conquered the hearts of all travelers who venture there, from Marco Polo to Kessel, from Chardin to Bouvier; three countries finally whose photographers are the defenders of a positive thought, the ambassadors of the ecological conscience, the lights of a new hope. »
